Jason Kenney personally boycotts Chiquita

December 18th, 2011  |  By: EthicalOil.org

Jason Kenney, Canada’s Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, announced on his twitter account that he will no longer but Chiquita products, because of their rejection of Canadian ethical oil for conflict oil from OPEC countries. He joins, Danielle Smith, leader of Alberta’s Wildrose Party in a boycott. EthicalOil.org encourages all Canadian leaders and indeed all Canadians to join this boycott.

@kenneyjason Jason Kenney:
I gather that Chiquita Bananas has no problem with Iranian oil, but is boycotting Canadian oil. No more Chiquita bananas for me.

    I’d like to see the federal government pull the funding for the CBC. The CBC are one of the biggest enemies the oil sands have. Maybe we should start a campaign to bring that about.

    Jason Kenny will no longer but bananas, what is he going to but and exactly how does he but bananas. If his governmenrt keeps going we will not have to import bananas since we will be a banana republic

    I don’t always agree with Jason Kenney, but he is right on this one. I am a senior and fell in love with Chiquita bananas the first time I tasted it. When I go shopping and if they do not
    have Chiquita bananas, i leave my shopping cart full of other stuff, leave and go to another<
    grocery store where they have some.
    Please buy Canadian oil
